Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Technical Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

- Storage Strategy Creation: Creating client strategies for storage solutions.
- Enhanced Storage Solutions: Defining IBM storage options to improve existing technology.
- Proof of Concept Delivery: Providing proofs of concept and simplifying technical topics for client understanding.
- Complex Cloud Deal Closure: Building trust to successfully close complex cloud tech deals.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Readiness to travel out of town up to 20% of time annually
- Willingness to engage in local face-to-face client engagements 4-5x weekly (post-covid)
- At least 4 years’ experience in Technical Storage Solution Sales
- At least 4 years’ experience in Storage systems, SAN, Object technologies
- Business-Tech Alignment: Experience aligning business goals with tech solutions.
- Stakeholder Consensus Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for achieving consensus among stakeholders.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 4 years' experience in working with IBM Storage hardware and software
- At least 4 years' experience in selling solutions to Enterprise market verticals
- Some experience with Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, UNIX
- Security Market Expertise: Security market knowledge to be a trusted client advisor (training on IBM's storage offerings is provided).
