**About The Role**

The Executive Assistant oversees the day-to-day of the Executive Director’s administration needs. To support the Executive Director, and Board members, the Executive Assistant plays a key role in:

- Providing overall administrative support to the Executive Director by booking, organizing, and scheduling appointments, meetings, travel, and updating their calendar accordingly.
- Prioritizing correspondences and assisting with drafting of internal and external communications, including the facilitation of agreements for the Executive Director’s review and signature.
- Acting as a liaison for the Executive Director with the Board members, internal teams, and external contacts by building relationships with contacts and organizations on behalf of the Executive Director to obtain relevant information.
- Providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Board by organizing and preparing all electronic data, drives, and preparing materials, reports, and project information.
- Collaborating on behalf of the Executive Director with board members, executive committee, staff responsible for lobbying reports, donor engagement, and the advisory council.

**Role Success**

Typically, we find that people who succeed in this role bring:

- 3-5 years of direct Executive Assistant experience; a combination of general office administration, support experience, and education will be considered.
- Strong computer and software literacy, general trouble shooting, with Microsoft Office and Windows experience.
- Ability to develop trusting, collaborative relationships internally and externally.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
