Bookkeeper/office Administrator

Busy Family owned and operated Sub-Contractor in North Waterloo seeking full time bookkeeper/office assistant contract position 36-40 hours per week in an office environment, daytime Monday-Friday. Position to start as soon as possible.
Bookkeeping duties include:
- AR, AP, government remittances (HST, EHT), WSIB, T5018, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Payroll and source deduction, prepare T4’s
- Prepare month end and maintain year end working papers and spreadsheets
- Invoicing, monthly contractor draws and receipt of payment
- Prepare bank deposits
- General ledger
- Maintaining accounts and accounting files including records
- Collections of past due accounts
- Health and Safety
Other duties include:
- Answering and directing phone calls, directing incoming mail, data entry, maintain correspondence and reports, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work well with others, time management skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent in all aspects of the English language.
- Lifting or moving of boxes up to 10lbs is required occasionally.
