Legal Bookkeeper/office Manager

**Job responsibilities include**:
- Legal bookkeeping; manage trust and general accounts, ensuring compliance with legal standards;
- A commitment to upholding the values of honesty, trust, and integrity;
- ADP Payroll processing;
- Tax remittances (HST and Corporate);
- Professional corporation maintenance;
- Accounts payable/receivable;
- Data entry;
- Knowledge of accounting software (PCLaw and Quickbooks);
- Reconciliation and balancing of accounts;
- Performance of month end closings;
- Prepare wires, cheques, payments and bank deposits;
- Maintain internal control systems;
- Maintain filing system to support financial records;
- Track and maintain file storage/records;
- Compliance with reporting requirements;
- Compliance with Law Society of Ontario requirements;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word, etc.);
- Assist with audits; compile year end documentation for accountants;
- HR knowledge an asset.
