**THE ROLE**

The **_Contract Administrator_** supports the project teams in project start up, subcontract administration, subcontract compliance/ insurance/ bonding, monthly reporting, and project close out on multiple projects throughout the organization. This position involves, liaison with the project team and sub-contractors, and will assist and maintain positive relationships. The Contract Administrator will work with project teams and will be responsible to provide timely and consistent deliverables to our subcontractors and clients and will ensure consistency of documentation and filing between projects.

**Key accountabilities/Responsibilities**:

- Document project startup and closeout tasks, monitor and track progress on responsible party tasks, and report to executive team on progress
- Coordinate the vendor set up process
- Coordinate the execution of prime contracts, subcontracts, supply only subcontracts, and purchase order agreements
- Track, and report contract compliance (prime, sub-contractor etc.) on the following: (assist as needed)
- WCB
- Statutory declaration
- Bonding and Insurance
- Safety Assessments & Responsibility
- Track and report project team compliance including: (Reporting to Project directors/ Executive team)
- Subcontract Issuance & Execution
- Progress Claims
- Subcontract & Project Close Outs
- Weekly and Monthly reports
- project submittals for timely completion
- Assist, track, and report on completion of O&M manuals
- Assist with Subcontractor Management Program
- Project archiving

**To be successful in the role applicants will have**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in a related field and/or diploma in business administration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to create, coordinate and track processes
- Strong computer skills in enterprise project management and/or construction software and Microsoft Office
- Tracking contracts and subtrade information for sites including updating the Project Status Sheet.
- Professional conduct with both internal and external customers
