Front Desk Reception/ Administrative Assistant

This position is full time. Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays. We are closed Sundays and Mondays. Schedule flexibility is a must

**This position's duties include**
- Opening and Closing the Shop
- Greeting Guests upon arrival
- Booking and confirming clients and via Booker and organize employee schedules
- Processing transactions
- Organizing, taking stock, and placing orders for retail and professional products
- Putting together after care kits and explaining procedures to clients
- Retrieving and putting away all client consultation files
- Pay all invoices and bills and organize all receipts
- Assist students in enrolling in classes, handle all payments and keep track of registration
- Occasionally run errands to ship out mail or pick up products
- Light cleaning duties (dusting product shelves, sweeping and mopping
- Communicate closely with our social media team for website updates and social media posts

**Requirements and Skills**
- Proven work experience in a managerial or salon environment as a receptionist or similar role
- Hands on experience with office equiptment like printers and POS systems
- Familiarity with processing transactions
- Exceptional organization and record keeping skills

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Beauty By Yael has always functioned within a sterile environment, using individual-use tools and PPE for our clients and ourselves, and wiping down beds and surfaces with disinfectants.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M4M1L1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
