**Steele VW** is seeking a **Sales Manager** to join our team
The **Sales Manager** with **Steele VW** is responsible for overseeing all operations within the New & Used Sales Department of the dealership. With industry experience and demonstrated success in sales, the Sales Manager is tasked with ensuring the department runs smoothly and profitably. This involves strategic planning, organization, directing the team, and maintaining control over various aspects such as forecasting sales, meeting targets, and achieving bottom-line results.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts for department
- Monitor New and Used car departments profitability and take responsibility for corrective measures
- Maintain and control vehicle inventory
- Work with staff to ensure proper lead management
- Work cohesively with other dealership departments to ensure ultimate functionality
- Lead, coach and mentor staff and take your team to the finish line
- Manage sales, expenses, and staff
- Other duties as required
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years previous automotive sales experience
- A proven track record of setting and achieving sales targets
- Financial knowledge of dealership operations
- Previous experience as a team leader / mentor / coach
