**HFX Steel Framing - Sales Manager**
HFX Steel Framing Solutions is locally owned and operated light gauge steel manufacturer based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We manufacture and assemble light gauge steel (LGS) structures in our facility (prefab) for residential and commercial buildings in the province. We offer a comprehensive service where we are with our clients from engineering and designing to shipping and installation. We do not consider that the job is completed until our customer is satisfied Our operations are growing rapidly, and we are looking to grow our team to match.
**Responsibilities**:
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product, services and technical information in a timely manner.
- Represent the company for the sale of product to customers
- Develop relationships with homeowners, contractors, and builders to grow and gain new business opportunities
- Present a professional image at all times to customers, vendors and other team members.
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
- Work with customer to determine project requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products, services and solutions.
- Develops and/or promotes sales material and presentations
- Accurately process customer transactions (orders, quotes or returns)
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints
- Meet with clients in shop or at client’s location, site

- **Communication**: Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Conducts positive negotiations, ability to compromise, handles conflict, seeks common ground, articulates own and others goals, stays focused on positive outcome.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years construction sales experience or similar industry
- General Knowledge construction / framing
- Construction estimating experience is considered an asset
- Familiar with Light gauge steel is considered an asset
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Reliable vehicle for site and client visits
- Valid driver's license
**Additional Role info**:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
- Compensation: Base salary + commission
- Travel millage reimbursement
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Commission pay
