Job Description
Responsible for customer liaison on all topics concerning the program requirements. Provide leadership, direction and strategic guidance with effective reporting to ensure the successful execution to meet Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives.
- Customer focal for all matters concerning status reporting, Program planning and work scope changes.
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with the customer at all times and ensure timely responses to customer queries.
- Customer focal for after hours support as required.
- Lead the Integrated Program Team to achieve program performance against planned objectives.
- In conjunction with the North American PMO group, lead the Risk Management Process, identify and evaluate risks to the program and highlight any areas of concern.
- Responsible for the management of all phases of the program including participation in the preparation of proposals, understanding the contractual terms and conditions.
- Keep abreast of all work performed on the program and ensure that all outputs required by the contract are complete within the defined schedule and to the required quality standard, report on any discrepancies.
- Lead the Material Change Board to manage product changes ensuring that product definition changes will introduce a product improvement, enhance part manufacturability, or result in cost reductions.
- Monitor costs and schedule to validate that program activities are within budget and on time and work with the other functions to ensure the program remains on target.
- Ensure that all chargeable activities are asserted to the customer.
- Responsible for program profitability and compliance to the business model.

Job Requirements
Superior time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
- Strong customer service skills with confidence to interact with senior customer representatives.
- Solid organizational skills, detail oriented, diligent, thorough, accurate and professional.
- Excellent influencing and relationship building skills with proficiency to drive actions to closure.
- Competent to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and listening skills. Proven ability to relay information in a clear and concise manner.
- Must have or be working towards the PMP (Project Management Professional) designation.
Technical, production, commercial and financial knowledge.
- Strong influencing and relationship building skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills (including working effectively with others and consistent with the company's values), as well as excellent presentation abilities required.
Ability to work effectively with the customers on a daily basis.
