Job Title: Program Analyst

Elexicon Energy Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst to contribute to the effective business operations of the System Control Centre (SCC) team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct gap and trend analysis for various projects/programs and prepare comprehensive reports on project/program status and outcomes.
  • Identify and analyze gaps and trends, determining root causes, and proposing solutions.
  • Gather, organize, and validate data, ensuring accuracy in reporting through data analysis.
  • Contribute to KPI development and actively track divisional performance against established KPIs.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives, including process mapping for continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring successful project coordination and execution.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain reporting applications, forms, and customized databases for efficient data management.
  • Perform periodic analysis and monitoring of operations data to meet quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in initiatives supporting the overall business strategy of the division.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, gap analysis, and reporting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business process redesign, analysis, and development of new initiatives.
  • 2 or more years of experience in local electricity distribution or a construction environment.
  • Class G license.
  • Project/program management experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced knowledge in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access, and MS Word.
  • Ability to develop statistical tracking methodologies.
  • Experience with process mapping, procedure writing, and knowledge of programming languages (VBA, SQL, Python) is an asset.
  • Business and strategic thinking acumen.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and perform duties with minimal supervision.
