**About the Position**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Information Preparation and Communication**: Prepare and send essential information and documentation to lenders, ensuring accuracy and timelines.
- **Data Analysis**: Conduct detailed analyses and prepare reports on various topics as required by the CEO, including financial analysis and market research.
- **Project Assistance**: Assist the CEO with special projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- **Stakeholder Communication**: Maintain clear and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders, representing the CEO as needed.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with team members across various departments to gather necessary information, resolve issues, and ensure cohesive and efficient financial operations.
- **Budget Support**: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure alignment with organizational financial goals.
- **Proforma and Reforecast Activities**: Support the development and maintenance of proforma statements and reforecasting activities, providing accurate financial projections and analysis.
- **Variance Analysis**: Perform variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between actual results and budgeted or forecasted amounts.
- **Audit Support**: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
- **Confidentiality, Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Maintain organized and thorough documentation of all financial transactions and reports, ensuring easy access and retrieval for audit and review purposes. Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- **Ad Hoc Duties**: Prepare reports and analyses as requested by the CEO or Financial Controller to support decision-making processes.
**Qualifications**
**You’re a fit for the role of CEO Assistant if your background includes**:
- A university degree in accounting, business, or a related field
- MBA degree or equivalent experience preferred; CPA designation is a plus.
- Proven experience as an analyst in the construction industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed analyses and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong sense of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a resourceful approach to addressing challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
- Ability to start as soon as possible
