Office Administrator

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and opportunities for growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate person
- Greeting visitors and providing them with necessary information
- Managing the front desk area, including maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders as needed
- Managing office files, both physical and computerized, ensuring proper organization and confidentiality
- Assisting with clerical tasks such as data entry, photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Providing administrative support to various departments as needed
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
**Experience**:
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role
- Respect and understanding of First Nations and Metis culture and teachings
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working in a medical office setting is a plus
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
