**Human Resources Associate Coordinator
- One (1) year Term**

**The Role**:
The Human Resources (HR) Associate Coordinator who will be responsible for timely internal support on all HR matters across APC. Reporting to the Manager, HR & Payroll Managing confidential information, the Human Resources Associate Coordinator will assist in the delivery of day-to-day HR functions, recruitment activities, on-boarding, departures, HR related projects, training and development administration, and general HR administration.

The Human Resources Associate Coordinator responsibilities will include:

- Prepare correspondence, reports, contract documents, presentations, and other documents to support the HR team ensuring accuracy, legibility, correct grammar and spelling, and consistent formatting/branding.
- Assist with training and development including administration of LMS, creating content, booking venues, notifying staff, coordinating technology, arranging refreshments, requirements and tracking attendance.
- Assist the HR team in updating relevant policies, procedures, and forms as required. Assist with onboarding including updating position profiles, creating job postings, applicant screening, coordinating interviews, reference checking, and preparing new hire paperwork.
- Assist with departures including layoff letters, and other required paperwork. Coordinate new and returning employee orientation including preparing applicable employment documents, scheduling, and assist in facilitating training.

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma or a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or a related field, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of one (1) years of experience in a human resources environment.
- Excellent proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office software and a demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning new software programs.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws, human resources processes and best practices.
- Experience in a unionized environment will be considered an asset.
- Facilitation and presentation skills considered an asset.
- Experience with Payworks payroll and HRIS management software is a valued asset.
