RISE (Investing in Women’s Futures Program) aims to ensure women and 2SLGBTQQIA+ Individuals who experience social and economic barriers to stabilize their lives and embark on a path to healing and wellness and gain the skills needed to gain economic self-sufficiency and security.

We seek an Administrative Assistant who will report to the Manager of Career & Loans Services. The individual who meets the job requirements will be recruited specifically for the IWF program at Achev. This position will provide Admin support and assistance to women, 2SLGBTQQIA+ and non-binary individuals who have experienced violence.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide enthusiastic, courteous service to RISE and ACHEV clients, as well as respond to client inquiries by phone and in person in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Contact clients to confirm/reschedule/rebook appointments as necessary
- Perform a variety of clerical duties, including filing, typing, photocopying, confidential record keeping and document distribution by company policies and procedures
- Contribute to team cohesiveness and team building
- Assist clients by providing general information and referrals to other community services.
- Assist in generating statistical reports regularly
- Register clients and organize client questionnaires and evaluations
- Undertake other duties assigned by the Manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 2 years working experience in an administrative environment
- Proven customer service skills in a busy office environment
- Well-organized with the ability to enter data with accuracy
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with clients with multicultural issues
- Demonstrated experience in working with women experiencing Gender-based Violence (GBV) and/or mental health issues, an asset
- Advanced numerical and analytical skills
- Demonstrated use of computer technology, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
- Adaptable, flexible and able to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of French or a language other than English is an asset
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative and be able to meet deadlines Other duties may be required as assigned
