Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Specialist, responsibilities for this position include:

- Welcoming newly hired team members and executing the Saskatoon Co-op onboarding journey; facilitating the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a positive experience for new team members and a smooth start into their roles with their new team leader.
- Working closely with HR Admin Representative - Reception in preparing and distributing onboarding hard copy packages, including the employee handbook and other materials
- Following up with team members and communicating with hiring managers to ensure appropriate sign-offs, employee information, banking and contact information has been provided.
- Review and summarize new team member surveys to share themes for HR and Division follow-ups.
- Planning, inviting, hosting, and facilitating in-person, orientation sessions.
- Working closely with HR Administrative Representatives in auditing data and ensuring team member profiles are accurate in internal HR systems.
- Providing regular reporting and project updates.
- Prioritizing and managing work to meet critical deadlines.
- Ensuring compliance with all processes and always maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Supporting the Human Resources Administrative Representative - Recruitment and Human Resources Administrative Representative - Reception as required.
- Responsible for Employee filing as required (Hard Copy and Digital).

Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Human Resources Certificate or Diploma.
- Minimum one year experience working in Human Resources in recruitment, onboarding and within an office setting.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written; comfortable presenting and speaking in front of a group.
- High energy individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and has strong planning, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience dealing with confidential matters appropriately.
- Work experience within a unionized environment considered an asset. Applicants must be available Monday-Friday (8am-430pm); some evenings and weekends for orientation meetings may be required.
