**Administrative Assistant**
As an exciting and fast-growing leader within the international corporate event and tradeshow exhibit world, Pro-X Event is looking to expand their team with a well-organized and eager Administrative Assistant who will take ownership over the accurate and timely completion of important show forms for our clients and internal teams.
**Location**:
- Mississauga, Ontario (in-office)
**Responsibilities**:
- Accurately create estimates and complete show service forms for each project on behalf of our clients, such as electrical and material handling forms
- Follow up with the account management team regarding forms, in order to ensure they are submitted according to deadlines
- Record and compile orders, forms and files from previous projects to reference for future projects for the same client, venue or conference center
- Liaise with our insurance providers to create new and modify existing Certificate of Insurance documents required for specific venues and conference centers
- Register our team with each venue for each project as the designated exhibitor contractor, and complete any additional forms required
- Become an expert in the variances between Canadian and USA projects, and the venues therein
- Assist the account management team with show-related questions by researching the answers for them to provide to our clients
- Flag issues or discrepancies that may arise in projects, and work with the team to solve them
- Positively communicate and collaborate across all departments within the organization
**Qualifications**:
- 1+ years of experience in an administration, clerical, front desk or similar role
- Proficiency in the virtual Microsoft Office suite and Google suite
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Highly organized with a keen eye for details and deadlines, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Post secondary degree or diploma is an asset
- Experience in an administrative role is an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
