**Position Summary**:
The HR department is working on growing and developing the processes and services that they use to support the organization and we are looking for someone who is able to work independently to accomplish goals and manage priorities, as well as able to work collaboratively in a team. You'll be providing HR services and administrative support to the organization, maintain ongoing processes, and also working with the team on current and future projects. This position will require high level communication, organization, time management, and attention to detail.

The vision of NAS Inc is an inclusive future for all and this role will play an important part in working towards that goal through supporting both the frontline and administrative team, and working alongside the HR department in identifying and working on continuous improvement in the services and support offered.

Job Duties
- Create and post job opportunities internally & externally
- Participate in interviews and perform reference checks
- Participate in the external recruitment drives such as Job Fairs
- Send sign-up documentation & manage onboarding process
- Complete new hire requirements, and collect necessary documents
- Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department and provide administrative support
- Provide monthly reports/status updates
- Effectively perform all necessary tasks using Microsoft Office products, internal and external electronic systems and software
- Act in accordance with NAS Inc. Policies & Procedures, legislative protocols and strive to meet CET Standards at all times

Schedule & Compensation

This position is located in our main facilities and is a 40 hour full time position. The schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The annual salary for this position is $48,490.20, and will have 4% vacation pay, plus 5 days flex time after 6 month’s employment. Cost shared benefits will begin after probationary period of 3 months. This position is currently a 1 year contract, but there is a high possibility of extension/permanent opportunities following contract completion.

You are a team player and are able to work independently but also collaborate well with others to complete tasks. You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbally, are detail oriented and ensure accuracy in your work. You are a critical thinker, take feedback well, and are not afraid to try new things. You are comfortable to ask questions, to learn new things, and to make suggestions. You have previous experience in Human Resources and are familiar with recruitment cycle. You can adapt to shifting priorities, are able to manage multiple ongoing projects, and meet deadlines. You are approachable, and are patient, you can problem solve well and are able to represent the organization in a professional manner. You are comfortable and competent with technology, specifically with Microsoft Office professional suite and ideally have experience with Dayforce/Ceridian.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Completion of at minimum a 2 year Canadian Human Resource diploma or certificate
- Minimum 2+ years relevant experience
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to write and communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong abilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple takes, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Previous experience with Ceridian Dayforce or other HRIS would be an asset
- Recruitment experience
- Experience in a Not-For-Profit organization
