As the Administrative Support III you will work both collaboratively and independently with a multi-disciplinary team within the Ambulatory Outpatient Clinics. You will perform a variety of administrative support duties including but not limited to: reception duties, answering telephone calls and communicating with patients, registering patients for clinic appointments, preparing/creating patient charts, maintaining patient records and documentation, scheduling/booking appointments, and other clerical duties as required. You will be expected to demonstrate exceptional customer service and telephone etiquette skills when communicating with the children and families in the outpatient clinics. As the Admin Support III you will be self-directed; have strong communication, professionalism and customer service skills; demonstrate critical thinking, time management, confliction resolution, decision-making and problem-solving skills; accurately collect & document information in a timely manner; be adaptable in an environment with constant interruptions and short timelines; show accountability and attention to detail; and demonstrate an attitude of respect, caring, and compassion for all patients and families in our care.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Experience using an electronic booking/scheduling system. 1 year customer service experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
MOA and/or Unit Clerk program including a practicum placement within a healthcare setting 1 year experience providing administrative support in an outpatient healthcare setting. Experience with booking appointments, chart management, understanding of clinic workflow/processes, telephone etiquette and skills. Experience working with children in an educational/healthcare, childcare or related setting. Experience with the following programs: Connect Care.
