The DMO is a small but mighty team, and we are seeking someone with a team-oriented approach who values strong working relationships and who is willing to roll up their sleeves and support their colleagues to help achieve our overall goals.

The Administrative Coordinator provides full range of administrative support services to the Deputy Minister’s Office. The position requires initiative to work independently and the ability to be proactive to follow procedures and obtain required information within critical deadlines.

The incumbent makes judgements on priority of materials and requests received, which cover a wide range of issues that may be sensitive and political in nature.

**Job Requirements**:

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED), plus two (2) years’ *related work experience.
- Related experience includes:

- Providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
- Editing and proofing business communication documents.
- Experience with business-related software: Excel, MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Experience with processing accounts and following financial policies and procedures.- Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:
- Certificate or higher in a related field (i.e., Business Administration, Medical Office Assistant, or Legal Office Assistant).
- More years of related experience.
- Experience with CLIFF and eApprovals systems.
- Experience providing administrative support in an executive-level office.
