**WHO WE ARE**

When it comes to health, we’re always looking for ways to push for better. It’s why we were founded in the first place. In 1957, our founder, pharmacist William Wilkinson, witnessed a mother sacrifice her health by forgoing her own medicine to pay for her sick daughter’s prescription. He knew there had to be a better way. So, he introduced North America’s first prepaid drug plan, and GreenShield was born as a not-for-profit with a mission to support better health for all Canadians.

We aren’t just a health and benefits company. We’re the only not-for-profit social enterprise that brings worlds of coverage and care together, all in one place. **THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL**

The Student work term in 2024, includes: May through September, late December (during our shutdown period), and March Break 2025 with opportunity for eligible students to return for up to 3 years.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Students enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program at an accredited University or Community College. Must have completed one full year on a full-time basis as of May 2024 and must be returning to full-time attendance in September 2024.
- Strong computer skills, including typing skills. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts.
- Reliable transportation is required.

**NICE TO HAVE**
- Bilingualism (English & French).
- Background in health care benefit administration.
