**About the Role**

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Providing professional-level human resources support and carrying out responsibilities in areas, such as, compliance, health & safety, total rewards & benefits, training and development, recruitment, organizational effectiveness, performance management, succession planning, leadership coaching, HR policies/employee handbooks, etc.
- Participating in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition, such as postings, job descriptions, resume review, phone screens, interviews, reference/background checks and offer letters
- Act as ACSO and manage the employee security screening process
- Delivering and administering onboarding programs for new hires
- Drafting business presentations to explain the purpose and goal and to seek compliance and understanding of human resources policies
- Developing, evaluating and maintaining HR Policies and Procedures including recommendations that align with best practices, business initiatives, and changes to legislation
- Preparing required HR correspondence such as offer letter, promotions, terminations, documents and communications
- Support development and execution of HR programs
- Providing support with mid-year and annual Performance Management Program such as creating presentations, templates, and timelines
- Supporting training requirements for the business as needed
- Providing creative ideas, energy and insights that help us deliver best in class people experiences
- Other HR related tasks and duties as required
- Communicating with building management and staff regarding office maintenance and upkeep

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent/ CHRP designated or working towards
- 2-3 years’ experience in HR support/recruitment
- A high level of initiative with a "can-do" attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-oriented skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- A track record of exercising professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Must have the ability to work in the office 2-3 days/week
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing work environment
