**Administrative Assistant**
We are excited to partner with a dynamic security and safety company in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to help find a skilled Administrative Assistant to join their expanding team. In this role, you will be reporting to the Controller and leadership team, supporting various departments.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide ongoing administrative support to the leadership team;
- Prepare, organize, and maintain records, including filing, data entry, and tracking project documentation;
- Assisting with the accounting department with various different tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations;
- Daily recording and depositing of cheque payments from customers;
- Semi-monthly recording of credit card and auto-debit payments from customers;
- Reviewing accounts receivable reports and following up with customers on outstanding balances, declined transactions, and expiring credit cards;
- Reviewing and entering bills from suppliers and subcontractors with supporting purchase order and job costing documents;
- Recording credit card charges with supporting documents or prior history;
- Organize company breakfast and lunches as requested by management;
- Management of event planning including corporate meetings, holiday events, conferences, etc.;
- Prepare and edit correspondence and documents;
- Undertaking other administrative tasks, special project and duties as required.
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting multiple departments;
- Post-secondary education would be an asset;
- Experience with accounting, CRM or project management software would be considered an asset;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and all Microsoft Suite programs;
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work;
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent typing skills;
- Strong work ethic with the abilities to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and stay organized;
- Ability to work fully onsite;
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
