**Purpose of the Position**

Alberta Transportation has awarded Aecon with a $595 million contract for the Deerfoot Trail Improvements project, located in Calgary, Alberta. Construction will consist of seven new bridges, additional lanes, and improvements to ramps and interchanges. Construction is scheduled for completion by fall of 2027.
Reporting into the Project Finance Manager, the
**Project Administrator** will sit out of our
**Calgary, Alberta** site office and will provide office and administrative support to Health and Safety and Finance teams.
**Office Administrator Responsibilities**:
- Performs administrative duties for job sites
- Ensure work stations and boardrooms are clean and equipped for new hires and project transfers
- Ensure that all fridges, coffee and supplies are stocked and replenish the supplies on a weekly basis
- Establishes accounts with local suppliers for miscellaneous items for site
- Establishes and dismantles site offices as required
- Maintains an organized filing system on site, mail, printing & filing
- Ensure all documentation regarding timesheets, equipment usage and all personnel related allowances are transferred to Accounting daily or weekly as required.
- Assist with processing employee’s payroll daily
- Requisition purchase orders for project team
**Safety Administration Responsibilities**:
- Operational support and resource for the EHS team.
- Monitor completion of all project Accident /Incident reports and ensure they are submitted, filed, forwarded and tracked as per the EHS program
- Ensure project safety documentation is uploaded into assigned files and maintained in an accessible manner for auditing purposes
- Organize, monitor and manage the statistical reporting and compiling processes for submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly statistical data and reports for both corporate roll up and site tracking and trending
- Assist EHS personnel in meeting the requirements and deadlines for reporting
- Assist with the set-up of new EHS team members and supervisors, organizing new user accounts, phones, etc to ensure compliance to the EHS program
- Provide regular feedback to the Safety Manager on the activities, submission status of Behavioral Based Observations (BBOs), site safety inspections, etc. to identify any areas needing improvement within the projects or work groups.
