Voices of The Land Coordinator

Are you a digital-content professional who is passionate about supporting the community to create, share, discover, and celebrate Indigenous stories? Are you motivated by working to improve web-content sharing platforms and user experiences? Edmonton Public Library is looking for a confident and dynamic Voices of the Land Coordinator to advance EPL's support for digital content creation, focusing on provincial Indigenous Digital Storytelling Initiatives.
**Job Requirements**:
- Related degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution. Certificate in digital media production or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of three years of related experience is required. Experience in a large public sector, institutional or commercial organization is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience or coursework on training people to use technology is required.
**What do you need to bring to this position?**
- A strong customer service orientation.
- The ability to develop and deliver effective training programs for staff and customers.
- The ability to work effectively with customers of all age levels and backgrounds; recognizing the needs of users from a wide variety of cultural, economic, social, and educational backgrounds.
- The ability to work effectively in diverse community settings is required.
- Effective project management skills.
- The capacity to readily adapt to shifting priorities and new service directions.
- Ability to convey complex and technical information in clear and jargon-free language to staff at all levels.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- A commitment to uphold the Canadian Federation of Library Associations position statements on Intellectual Freedom and Diversity and Inclusion.
**Note**:
- Satisfactory background screening is required for this position, which includes a Criminal Record Check/Police Information Check.
- This position will travel as needed throughout the province.

**Pay Band**:
$33.31 - $42.52 per hour*
- Approximately $60,866 - $77,698 per annum based on a 35 hour work week.
