**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Manager, Treasury & Collection Management, this is a specialized administrative role responsible for ensuring banking documentation is complete and accurate with respect to signing authorities, contract renewal dates and terms and providing administration access for on-line banking services. The Administrative Officer, Banking also provides ongoing analysis of service and banking transactions.

This position plays a critical role in cash flow management through daily cash flow monitoring, analysis and forecasting as well as investigating and resolving payment and reporting issues. Using your strong analytical skills and experience with cash forecasting you will be able to effectively review banking information retrieved from multiple internal and external sources to forecast and respond to AGLC’s short and mid-term cashflow needs.

Through your solid knowledge of banking services and systems and excellent organization skills, you will develop and maintain strategic and productive alliances with financial institutions and ensure strong access controls are in place. Knowledge of banking documents, systems, and services along with Canadian Payment Association Standards, Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Standards and applicable legislation and regulations will be an asset to you in the role.

Your sound leadership and communication skills will assist you in the development of open and productive banking relationships, in providing training to other AGLC banking positions as well as in providing recommendations for changes to procedures, standards, and policies.

Strong written skills will be required as you will be expected to draft, compose, and prepare forms, documents and relevant notes related to all position responsibilities to ensure operational needs are being met.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Position requires a post-secondary diploma/certificate in accounting/finance and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible related experience, supervisory experience would be considered an asset.

The following will be considered as an asset:

- Knowledge of computer and banking software, banking procedures and processes including banking instruments, and transactions.
- Knowledge of Canadian Payments Association standards.
- Knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance standards.
- Knowledge of contract and service agreements
- AGLC business operations and Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act and Regulations
