**Administrative Assistant**

An Admin Assistant will perform variety of duties that support the company’s business functions including, administration, human resources, marketing, and finance. They need to understand and demonstrate company mission, vision, and values; constantly strive to support the company's achievement of corporate goals and objectives.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Office**
- Provide general administrative office duties and support
- Scanning documents and managing digital files
- Assist with file management duties such as, creating, filing and retrieving files, or preparing for offsite storage
- Respond to general enquiries regarding the company
- Establish and maintain effective communication with all employees
- Book meetings and prepare meeting minutes
- Assist with maintenance/repair of office equipment and supplies
- Open, stamp and distribute incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail
- Assist with updating and creating company manuals and systems
- Conduct cross checks for inventory quality control
- Other tasks as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

**Human Resources**
- Provide recruitment support with screening resumes, posting available job opportunities and creating/updating position descriptions
- Coordinate front-line level interviews for various departments, performing select reference checks, and attending job fairs
- Assist with the development of various employee recognition programs and services
- Assist with creating various HR related letters and memos
- Assist with organizing company events and sponsorships
- Reviewing health and safety documentation and filing
- Ensure compliance of Occupational and Safety Health Act, and company health and safety systems

**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- Post secondary diploma in business administration/office management
- Experience working in an office setting
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Strong customer services skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Individual must have exceptional organizational, time management, communication, strong computer skills and abilities and a demonstrate a high level of professionalism in the workplace
