**Job Summary**

The **Commissioning Manager** will manage on-site testing and commissioning activities as well as support CADRI on-site commissioning team as they demonstrate that the locomotive meets our client’s requirements. Responsibilities include managing the commissioning schedule, timely issuance of all reports, internal and external resources, and all stakeholders + progress meetings on Customer property.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the full scope of Project Commissioning including Testing, Training Activities, Project Deliverables and Warranty follow up.
- Be the main Person of Contact (POC) with our customer NYCT (New York City Transit) for all communications, progress reporting, and all other matters related to the project.
- Ensure Testing procedures are followed, communicated, and supported both internally and externally (including the customer) while managing the Commissioning schedule.
- Lead Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings and resolution of open items generated following the reviews.
- Oversee Reliability with both the customer and internal teams to addressing defects, field modifications, and ensuring products receive agreed-upon rectifications;
- Establish and ensure all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) measures are in place and enforced.
- Ensure all Commissioning deliverables are timely (Quality, Time, Scope) and in line with the contract through planning, communication, and control during project reviews.
- Establish a strategy and mobilization plan for the commissioning and warranty period, including the clear definition and agreement of customer infrastructure usage;
- Implement an incident management process to track Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions with the Quality and Engineering teams.
- Manage and close Open Items, field modifications/retrofits, and report on progress;
- Ensure internal and external audits and assessments are conducted appropriately;
- Ensure supplier commitment aligns with warranty requirements and manage supplier charge-back agreements and execution;
- Identify potential additional service sales opportunities during the warranty period;

**Experience**
- Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, or other relevant technical field) (Asset);
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial sector (rail, energy, infrastructure, etc.);
**Skills**
- Technical expertise in commissioning, testing, and validation of complex systems;
- Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards and regulations;
- Proficiency in project management software and performance tracking tools;
- Willingness to travel frequently to job sites;
- **Excellent communication skills in English (important requirement)**

Le Responsable de la Mise en Service (Commissioning Manager) gérera les activités de test et de mise en service sur site, tout en soutenant l'équipe de mise en service de CADRI sur place pour démontrer que la locomotive répond aux exigences de nos clients. Les responsabilités comprennent la gestion du calendrier de mise en service, l'émission des rapports en temps voulu, la gestion des ressources internes et externes, ainsi que des réunions de suivi sur le site du client.
