**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated **Sales Representation** to join our team. This role involves generating new business opportunities through cold calling, client visits, and relationship-building efforts. As a key member of the business development team, you will work closely with internal departments to drive revenue growth and maintain strong relationships with our client base. This role is an in-office position with a strong focus on client outreach and sales.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Prospect and Generate Leads**: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities by performing cold calls and leveraging industry networks and databases.
- **Client Visits and Sales Presentations**: Conduct in-person client visits to present GTI’s service offerings, assess client needs, and establish strong business relationships.
- **Pipeline Management**: Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities, tracking leads and prospects to ensure continuous follow-up and conversions.
- **Develop and Execute Sales Strategies**: Work with management to create tailored strategies for target markets, identifying unique sales angles and pitches to attract new clients.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up.
- **Market Analysis and Insights**: Research industry trends and competitor offerings to stay updated and offer valuable insights to clients and internal teams.
- **Sales Reporting and Forecasting**: Track performance metrics, sales activity, and forecast revenue targets to achieve or exceed goals.
**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in logistics, transportation, or related industries.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to C-level clients.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record in sales and relationship management.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Analytical skills to assess market data and identify growth opportunities.
