STRABAG Inc., has extensive experience in large scale underground hard and soft ground construction projects. We provide expertise in ground engineering and tunnel excavation with qualified personnel.

**Job Summary**:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all aspects of human resources work within the organization. The duties will include payroll, benefits, compensation, training, recruitment, employee relations and personnel management. This position will all provide other administrative support as needed.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to employees to address general HR-related questions and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, policies and procedures
- Provide support and assist with recruitment, hiring, on/offboarding activities for employees
- Participate in all areas of employee relations
- Provide guidance to supervisory staff on payroll and benefits matters to assure the company complies with various regulatory agencies and guidelines
- Maintain positive relationships with third parties including government agencies
- Payroll & Benefits administration
- Assist with the development, implementation and communication of Human Resources policies and procedures
- Manage employee records electronically and manually
- Performs other related duties as assigned

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Strong problem solving and organizational/planning skills
- Good knowledge of benefits, HR principles, payroll, employment law and regulations
- Experience using ADP Work Force Now
- Very good organizational and strong data entry skills

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist
- Post-Secondary diploma or degree in human resources or related field preferred
- Ability to deal with confidential issues in a professional manner
- Strong computer skills
- Effective communication (verbal/written/listening)
- Ability to work independently and or a part of a team
