The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing support services to the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). These tasks involve administrative support to day-to-day EPMO operations, project governance, programs, and projects. The Project Coordinator will also participate in the management of the EPMO tools and assist the core teams in terms of process improvement practices.

The Project Coordinator will be supporting the Sr. Project Manager in managing the project scheduling, financial management, resource management, reporting, and change management practices. The Project Coordinator may also be required to assist Project Managers for specific programs or projects as the need arises.

**Please note: This is a 6-month contract opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities**

**_ Planning, Execution and Operationalization_**
- Assist in the set-up of project requirements, project sites, site access and others
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of project risk, actions, issues, decision log as well as tracking assumptions and constraints
- Assist with the set-up of resources in the PM tool for existing and future projects
- Assist in the compilation of project statuses for executive and various reporting
- Conduct follow-ups to general requirements from the Sr. Project Managers
- Assist the Sr. Project Managers for coordination tasks based on specific requests

**_Stakeholder Management and Communication_**
- Act as the initial contact between the project and the different stakeholder in terms of its project and governance practices
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of communication techniques
- Raise risks to the Sr. Project Manager
- Schedule, attend, participate and take minutes in various meetings as required
- Communicate with various departments to keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan

**_Other Administrative Support Services_**
- Assist in the management of the EPMO tools, sites, and dashboards
- Act as administrator and content owner of the project team site and tools
- Collect project data from the Sr. Project Manager and other cross functional leads.
- Assist in the preparation of the Steering Committee, project and other EPMO reporting
- Assist in the management of the change management and benefits realization process
- Ensure Project Managers maintain project artifacts in their project repository before project closing

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office Programs including MS Project and Visio with an emphasis on advanced Microsoft Excel experience, SharePoint and/or Project/Portfolio Management tool, Power BI
- Experience working as a project coordinator to portfolio office, large projects and/or multiple projects
- Able to work in a team environment or as an individual contributor
- Able to work on changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently with virtual team while achieving deadlines
- Experience in implementation and launch of new technology software and projects.
- Ability to communicate between technical and non-technical teams, and understanding the language used by both.
- Have a solid customer service orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to interact with and build effective relationships with all levels of staff
- Organized with the ability to quickly prioritize and re-prioritize and effectively handle critical issues or competing priorities
- Move with agility from one task to another to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence others and negotiate effectively
- Adaptable and patient - able to work well in a fluid environment, flex with change and tolerate ambiguity
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

**Education, Designations, Training and Experience**
- 2-5 years experience in a project coordinator or project control officer role in an Enterprise Project Management Office setting
- Working knowledge of banking solutions and products
- Knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle, Software Development Life Cycle methodologies (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of conflict and issue resolution
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
- Audit experience is an asset
- University degree or diploma (or acceptable equivalent qualifications)
- Project Management Professional, Accounting or Agile/SCRUM certification is an asset
