You as a Senior BIM Coordinator will: 

Build a BIM Execution Plan and Project specific VDC implementation strategy  Understand the owner BIM / Employers Information Requirements (EIR) and use a custom suite of software tools to prepare model-based deliverables  Work with Project Management team to develop BIM specific scope of work in tender documents Develop project specific workflows that utilize BIM data for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling (4D), coordination, field layout, and facilitates management. Develop solutions with the project stakeholders by performing model-based design and constructability review, clash detection and visualization Manage and maintain BIM data generated from various sources throughout design and construction Take ownership over coordination meetings with designers, trades, and suppliers  Generate drawings and construction documents from the BIM using standardized details and workflows Work closely with the field team using the intelligent building models to track the progress on site and contribute on the overall project schedules and plans Use your 3D Modeling skills to model Architectural, Structural, MEP and Construction Logistic elements as needed for representation, visualization, and coordination. Proactively identifying potential coordination issues and act as a subject matter expert for design software products & BIM related issues while maintaining best practices Facilitate reality capture, utilizing LiDAR, Drones and 360 Photography for model integration, QA/QC, analysis, and visualization Participate in software testing, R&D initiatives and continue personal and professional growth

What you will bring to the Team: 

University degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, M&E or related field. 5 or more years of professional experience with focus on BIM Management, Modeling and related technology Relevant experience in engineering and/or construction fields, including document production and M&E coordination works. Advanced experience in Autodesk BIM360, Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks is required. Revizto, Assemble, Synchro Pro are considered an asset. Experience working with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Bluebeam. High level of knowledge interpreting design and construction drawings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Excellent organization, time management skills and attention to detail BIM-related training or certifications considered an asset (Building Transformations, BuildingSMART) RPAS (Drone) Operator Certification (Or the ability to achieve) Experience developing technical information and presentation material Ability to interact with external entities (clients, owners, agencies) to interpret and understand desired BIM or CAD delivery requirements.
