**What You'll Create and Do**

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a crucial role in driving sales revenue for Go Evo. You will collaborate with the sales team to build a qualified sales pipeline and support the customer buying journey while gaining insight into the GovTech industry and building strong fundamentals for a career in consultative software sales. Your primary focus will be generating new prospects, qualifying leads, and creating sales opportunities for our municipal operations management software, MESH.

**Responsibilities**:*
- Lead Nurturing: Nurture leads through the Discovery process to convert them into qualified opportunities.
- Metric-Driven Approach: Meet and exceed weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, such as discovery meetings booked, leads qualified, or similar metrics.
- Salesforce Utilization: Create and maintain records in Salesforce for accurate pipeline growth, forecasting, and communication.
- Market Research: Research untapped markets to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaboration: Actively review, analyze, and optimize tactics with the entire sales team to improve success rates.

**Qualifications**:*
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey thoughts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen and seek clarification.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Superior interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent.

**Bonus If You Have**:*
- Experience with cold calling.
- Experience with sales solutions like Salesforce, Apollo, Gong, etc.
- Experience with working in a start-up environment.
- Experience with selling to B2G or B2B organizations.
