**Job Summary**

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team to work an evening shift from 12 pm to 8:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

The inside sales representative will be responsible for following up with new leads and maintaining relationships with customers, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets.

To be successful as an inside sales representative you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top inside sales representative should also be and a good listener and always have the customer top of mind.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Supports Scholar’s Choice Mission “Provide innovative and engaging educational solutions to parents and educators”, through inspiring communication, integrity and passion.
- Work alongside members of the Sales and Marketing team to review sales metrics and to identify sales opportunities
- Keeping up with the Scholar’s Choice brand, products, offers and promotions, etc.
- Manage and execute the sale process for specific campaigns i
- Qualifying new leads. Make outbound calls to potential customers and understanding their needs.
- Following up on leads and providing customer’s with the information they need including (and not limited to)
- Product information
- offers and promotions
- links to specific catalogues and flyers that meets their needs
- Information on grant or funding opportunities
- Offer support to outside sales reps as required
- Work alongside the outside sales team to establish relationships and assist them with repeat purchases
- Develops strategy and helps to translate into specific priorities, objectives and action plans
- Manages time, projects, processes and resources to produce desired outcomes
- Creating and maintaining the CRM database to ensure customer information is current and up to date.
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
- Other duties as needed to help drive sales and conversions

**Qualifications**
- College diploma or University degree required
- 5 years experience in sales preferably working within the education sector (Childcares Centres, School Boards, Community Organizations, etc.)
- Excellent customer service
- Clear communication and active listening
- Ability to process information well
- People oriented and experienced in rapport building
- Ability to sell and promote
- Working knowledge of various technology and software programs (Hubspot and Eclispe)
- Strong product knowledge
- Excellent time management

**Skills**
- Must have open availability for a flexible work schedule that meets the needs of the business, including evenings, holidays and weekend shifts
- Socially engaged on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
- Hold a valid Driver’s license
- Ability to lift 30lbs
