We support a national network of young leaders as they work to revolutionize mental health in their communities. Our network of 3,000 (and counting) young people across Canada is as busy as ever, and our staff of 75 humans and 3 dogs are working just as hard - albeit from the comfort and safety of their own homes for the time being

Our staff has been working hard to pivot our programs to meet the needs of young people in this challenging time. And, like we do every summer, we are keen to get an extra boost to our team by bringing on a cohort of interns to help across the organization.

This paid internship runs from **May 1st - August 31st, 2023**. This is a remote position, and we encourage applicants from across Canada to apply.

**In this role, you will be**:

- Helping start the foundational research of a mental health literacy framework
- Supporting the new 3-year strategy through EKT work, including literature review.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize emerging evidence to help inform program design and evaluation
- Write the annual Campus Assessment Tool Report
- Help develop new data collection methods and plans for ongoing program evaluation, including surveys and focus group/interview guides.
- Help coordinate focus groups with young people and program stakeholders and support with analyzing focus group data.
- Assist with knowledge translation activities and support the development of Jack.org’s Campus Assessment Tool

**We’re looking for someone who**:

- Has excellent research and writing skills
- Knows qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Is diligent, detail-oriented, and organized
- Has the willingness to help out with any task and a desire to work collaboratively with a team
- Has strong people skills and the ability to work in a team environment and communicate professionally and sensitively with external stakeholders.
- Has a ton of curiosity and a desire to learn

**Please note**: this opportunity will be funded through Canada Summer Jobs, and all applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for this position:

- Be between **15 and 30 years **of age at the beginning of the employment period.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada following relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
