**Human Resource Coordinator**
Contract position: 6-9 months

**About The VSCAN-**

**Job Description/Duties**
- Responsible for recruitment process for all positions
- Develop & maintain up-to-date job descriptions for all positions within the clinic
- Coordination of all new hire paperwork (ex: monitor status of outstanding documents, confirming collection and processing for onboarding)
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure hiring needs are understood and met within time to hiring guidelines
- Participate in recruitment events (internal and external events both virtual and in person) as needed to attract new prospects
- Input and maintain up-to-date electronic employee records (or other HR software): personal employee information, compensation, job, termination, and performance review status, etc.
- Liaise with Finance (Payroll) and IT on employee changes, new hires and terminations
- Prepare formal pay-scale for employees that aligns with clinic needs
- Manage & track employee compensation adjustments and increases
- Function as the primary liaison between employees and benefits provider
- Coordinate/organize the annual performance review process for all employees

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources Management
- 1-2 year experience in a Human Resources role
- CHRP in progress or completed is an asset
- Experience with recruitment process and use of job boards (eg. Indeed)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

**Compensation**:

- $28-$32/hour depending on qualifications
- Benefits package (with full-time employment)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6-9 months

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
