To be successful, this dynamic team player must be a strong communicator with a passion for delivering helpful, positive service not only to our customers but to the communities we serve.As a Store Manager, you will:Develop sales through:In-stockCompliance with our store merchandising conceptsCredit marketingPromotional event executionEffective communications with Buyers/Head Office/District ManagerDevelop people through:Effective recruitingTraining, development and coachingPerformance managementSuccession planningEffective communicationDeliver quality customer service by:Developing, implementing and lead customer service initiativesEmbodying our values with PRIDEEnsure Fields’ customer service standards are maintainedParticipate in and support community eventsSupport operational controls by:Ensuring health & safety compliance to company policies and government regulationsEnsuring compliance with company standards creating a clean, easy to shop, customer friendly storeEnforcing standard operating procedures and policies to achieve company objectivesLeading store team to accomplish company goalsUtilizing labor management and expense control initiatives to maximize company profitsDeveloping and executing shrinkage reduction programs with the support of the District ManagerOverseeing loss preventionYou will accomplish this by:Conducting yourself in a mature, professional, friendly manner at all timesEmphasizing open, honest and positive communicationPlanning, organizing and multi-tasking at a quick pace while ensuring accuracyProtecting company assets, monies and confidential documentationUnderstanding store profitability, sales, turnover, expenses, markdowns and budgetingFamiliarizing yourself and your team with local competition, community events, customer’s income sources, new and growing needs for your business and your customer.Who You Are:You have exposure to commercial or retail industryYou possess strong customer service and leadership skillsYou have ability to communicate professionally – verbal and writtenYou are highly organized, including the ability to re-prioritize workload and adapt to changing circumstancesYou are self motivated, show initiative, proactive and can work with minimal supervisionYou are detail oriented and possess strong follow through skillFIELDS provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all its team members and applicants for employment without regard to race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics, disability and conviction for an offence for which a pardon has been granted or in respect of which a record suspension has been ordered.
