Job description
The role will be expected to maximize dealers' sales for SANY Heavy Machinery Canada Ltd. in Western Canada. They are required to be a value deliverer, network builder, team player, customers’ reliable friend and SANY’s standing ambassador in their territory.
The ideal role should be based in Alberta, and Calgary is preferable.
Position:  Regional Business Manager - Western Canada
Reporting to : Sales Director
Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain Heavy Equipment dealerships across Western Canada.
· Identify prospective new key accounts in the rental market, negotiate contracts, oversee territory sales, train dealer staff, and engage in joint end-user sales calls when needed.
· Identify market trends and forecast dealers’ future equipment needs.
· Contribute to after-sales dealer questions and needs with parts and product support departments.
· Promote all future Business units that SANY Group will introduce in North America.
· Facilitated and managed business plan development based on market and industry research.
· Attended conferences and trade association meetings to represent the company and promote products.
Qualifications
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Canadian construction equipment/ heavy machinery/mining machinery industry with reputed global brands or dealerships.
· Existing and proven accomplishments within the industry with the ability to offer references.
· Proven experience as a Regional Business Manager, Regional Sales Manager or a related position for at least 5 years.
· Great communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to develop and use performance KPIs.
· Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
