Calgary, Canada Onstream Pipeline Inspection Services Inc. Full time

The Strategic Account Manager is primarily responsible for both establishing new clients and effectively maintaining existing client relationships. This role will collaborate with the business to ensure a clear understanding of opportunities and threats that will impact client relationships, and then proactively manage the client to promote client retention and revenue maximization. The Strategic Account Manager is the key point person for proactive and strategic client management relating to client relationships, pricing strategies, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities Include

  • Execute and deliver on annual sales targets by expanding wallet-share with existing clients and bringing in new ones
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and profits
  • Influencing, coordinating with, and supporting internal stakeholders with regard to customer activities
  • Representing the organization expertly and professionally at tradeshows and conferences
  • Maintain strong key client relationships ensuring retention and revenue maximization through frequent communication and regular in-person visits
  • Promote Onstream and Mistras state of the art technology solutions and exceptional service to the pipeline integrity industry
  • Gain external market intelligence to stay abreast of service offerings that will beneficially impact clients
  • Proactively manage client relationships relating to pricing strategy and project management/follow-up
  • Build, develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships that align with and meet Onstream’s core values
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and clearly communicating ongoing progress toward targets
  • Deal formulation, pricing strategy development, presentation building/delivering, and proposal writing
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction, Managing client complaints and concerns
  • Consistent and timely updating of CRM systems, Scheduling tools, call reports, weekly sales meeting notes, and providing any other ad-hoc reports as required
  • Involves regular travel including out of town (25-50%)
  • Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience / Credentials Required

  • Relevant post secondary education
  • 2-5 years experience within the pipeline inspection industry or a similar oilfield services industry
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver License (or equivalent) and Driver Abstract meeting company driving eligibility guidelines
  • Valid Passport and ability to travel internationally
  • Strategic and consultative selling skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, and listening
  • Experience working within CRM, ERP, and forecasting systems
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills
  • Strong ability to manage relationships at all levels
