The Senior Regional Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for leading the regional sales and marketing strategies across multiple hotels and different market segments. This role involves driving revenue growth, overseeing marketing initiatives, managing key client relationships, and collaborating with hotel leadership teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success in a multi-property role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the region.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals across the region, ensuring they meet individual and team sales goals.
  2. Marketing Strategy:
    • Oversee the development and execution of regional marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and guest engagement.
    • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to ensure alignment with brand standards and overall marketing objectives.
    • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel agents, and other business partners.
    • Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to secure business and foster long-term partnerships.
    • Manage and negotiate contracts with major clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the regional sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
    • Monitor and report on the financial performance of the region, including forecasting and variance analysis.
    • Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize ROI on sales and marketing initiatives.
  5. Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with different hotel General Managers and leadership teams to align sales and marketing efforts with property-specific goals.
    • Provide regular updates to corporate senior management on regional sales and marketing performance.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the region.
  6. Compliance & Standards:
    • Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with company policies, brand standards, and legal requirements.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-property role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of market analysis, sales forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Proficient in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region as required.
