HRMS Manager

We are seeking an experienced HRMS Manager to oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Workday Management system. The HRMS Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a small team of HRMS specialists, while ensuring the effective utilization of HR technology platforms to streamline HR processes, enhance data accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise (Workday specific), project management skills, and HR domain knowledge.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the Company's Workday platform, with the aim to enhance current configurations and capability, in alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead high visibility Workday projects, ensuring the flawless planning, integration and roll-out of new HRMS modules, features, add-ons, and interfaces.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and direction to the Workday team to enable them to efficiently address and troubleshoot Workday-related issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, identify system enhancements, and implement solutions to optimize Workday functionality.
  • Oversee data management processes, including data validation, cleansing, and integrity checks, to maintain accurate and reliable HR data in the system.
  • Be a model and a leader to the Workday team by offering appropriate coaching and mentoring, redefining responsibilities, optimizing Workday work methods and processes, managing performance, as well as supporting development goals.
  • Generate regular reports and analytics to assess HR metrics, track key performance indicators, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate HR staff, managers, and end-users on Workday functionality, ensuring efficient utilization of system capabilities.
  • Stay informed about emerging HR technology trends, assess potential impacts on Workday operations, and make recommendations for system enhancements or upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security standards, implementing measures to safeguard sensitive HR information.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional courses and certifications are an asset.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Workday administration and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data management principles, and regulatory requirements related to HR information systems.
  • Proven track record of leading Workday implementation projects, from requirements gathering and system configuration to user training and post-implementation support.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • The ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Excellent project planning skills, with an ability to oversee a project execution team, prioritize tasks, anticipate technical system issues, manage timelines, and handle scope changes.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to data accuracy, quality assurance, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Quick with Workday systems, technical configurations, data and analytics.
  • Empathetic leader excited to manage and develop a small HRMS team.
