Since launching “ExoSphere” in March 2022, Fleet has signed contracts with over 30 customers based in Australia and North America including Rio Tinto, Barrick Gold and Core Lithium. Fleet’s ExoSphere technology is contributing to solve the pressing global priority to decarbonise mobility and find more than $13 trillion USD worth of minerals required for the energy transition to help meet global net zero priorities.
The Role:
We're looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join our passionate and diverse team to drive relationships across Saskatchewan; someone who loves uncovering new opportunities and thrives on engaging with potential customers in innovative ways.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, researching and targeting new prospects. Your day-to-day will involve everything from discovery calls and technical workshops to delivering compelling presentations that win over decision-makers and close deals. Ideally you have completed studies or worked in Geology, Geophysics or a related field, and share the passion that our clients and team do for the earth sciences. Location: We welcome applications from anywhere in Canada who are open to travel (namely to Saskatoon).
Main responsibilities:
- Lead development across Saskatoon - identifying new leads and managing the sales process end-to-end.
- Utilize your understanding of the sales process and various engagement channels - networking, digital technology, and partnerships - to connect with potential customers and create new qualified and relevant leads.
- Account Planning including deepening relationships with key clients, understand their business needs, and develop tailored strategies to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
- Pro-actively work to build a validated and qualified sales pipeline that enables excellent annual growth and fosters sustainable relationships with customers that leads to recurring sales.
- Genuinely engage with stakeholders on all levels and explore opportunities for alignment in a way that feels personalized and right for them: execute discovery calls, sales presentations, and conferences/Industry events.
- Build a passion and understanding of ExoSphere and an ability to sell creative solutions that address customers’ unique problems. You will gather customer feedback and convey market needs to inform the Product roadmap and provide insights that strengthen our value proposition.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's (Tertiary) degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Geophysics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant business development experience with strong sales results demonstrated.
- A natural relationship builder with excellent ability to establish rapport with stakeholders on all levels.
- A self-starter with the drive and ambition to identify and open up new business opportunities and generate strong sales results using various communication channels.
- Confident verbal and written communication with the ability to present information to potential customers through sales presentations, workshops and public speaking at industry and networking events.
- Curiosity and an ability to grasp technical concepts and understand how technology can help solve various business problems.
- Creative and adaptable mindset demonstrated through ability to open up new sales opportunities and closing deals in competitive sales environments.
- Great strategic thinker with the ability to identify, categorize, and prioritize sales opportunities.
