Position OverviewAs the Manager – Human Resources Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the delivery of HR services within the shared services framework. Reporting to the Director – HR & Payroll, you will lead and manage a team of HR Administrators, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure service excellence and client/employee satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on process improvement, technology utilization, and compliance.
Responsibilities- Developing and implementing strategies to optimize HR service delivery processes within the shared service environment.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services, including some payroll processing, employee onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management in HRIS.
- Lead and manage a team of HR administrators responsible for delivering shared services to clients in Canada and the US.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR services to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and implementation of self-service tools to streamline HR delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, HR business partners, and managers to understand their needs and expectations for the HR services.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers supporting HR service delivery and ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
- Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to track KPIs and identify trends to assist with decision making.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, culminating in a leadership role. You will have the education to support your experience with a degree in HR and pursuit of a CHRP designation. We are looking for a natural leader who can demonstrate proven leadership skills and a deep understanding of HR processes, best practices, and workflow.
You will be current on various HR technology solutions and HRIS platforms and bring a strong attention to detail and high prioritization skills to your role. This opportunity requires someone who can communicate with people at all levels and can leverage confidence and interpersonal skills to help build required relationships throughout the organization.
Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset are needed, along with a proven track record of driving process improvements in a highly compliance-driven and fast-paced environment. Must be willing to be on-site 3 days/week to foster collaboration within HR and aid in the development of your team.
What Will Make You Stand Out- Excellent experience working the quantitative side of HR practice.
- Thorough knowledge of compensation, HR analytics, and HRIS.
- Proven team player with a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to juggle a high volume of work.
