Evolugen, Brookfield Renewable's Canadian business is seeking a Coordinator, Benefits & Pensions to join our People & Culture team.  Reporting to the Manager, Benefits and Pensions, the Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of all pension and retirement programs across multiple business platforms in Canada and creating an exceptional employee experience. They will also support group benefits administration, as needed. This is an exciting opportunity join a growth-oriented organization and leader in the clean energy transition in Canada.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Responsible for pension and retirement plan administration; day-to-day administration, communications, pension committee meetings, regulatory filings and audits;
- Assist in the day-to-day administration of the Company’s various benefit and including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, EFAP and Workers’ Compensation;
- Process Canadian benefits & pensions invoices, including coding, approval, follow up with vendors and coordination with Accounts Payable;
- Monitor the shared benefits & pensions mailbox and serve as a first point of contact for both active and retired employees;
- Liaise with third party pension administration team;
- Support the creation, documentation and improvement of processes;
- Support the administration of employee leaves of absence (parental, disability, etc.);
- Update HR Information System and carrier websites as required following life events, job changes, etc.;
- Assist with data reporting (e.g. workers compensation, employee census, etc.);
- Coordinate logistics for pension meetings, seminars, renewal meetings etc.;
- Prepare and/or participate in government filings, plan audits, or other reporting requirements as necessary;
- Update benefits & pensions communications on Company intranet, as required;
- Provide support with ongoing audits (year end, pensions, etc.);
- Other duties as assigned.
