We are seeking an experienced leader to run Operations at Walmart Connect Canada. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for driving our operational centre of excellence and overseeing our financial, revenue and business operations as well as enabling technology and automation to accelerate operational efficiencies. As a member of the Walmart Connect leadership team, you will work alongside a group of industry experts in a rapidly and exponentially growing business.

What you'll do...

  1. Revenue Operations: Drive our Operational Center of Excellence including integration of sales, marketing and service departments to provide a better end-to-end view to administration and management, while leaving day-to-day processes within the departments. In addition, you will optimize processes to streamline sales, marketing and client service operations to maximize revenue and support sustainable growth.
  2. Financial Operations: Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial and accounting activities required to operate the WMC business and ensure compliance to Walmart accounting practices.
  3. Business Operations: Establish, measure & optimize an enterprise commercial process that spans the entire revenue cycle. In addition, set up business Intelligence team to establish fact based reporting analytics and KPIs to measure commercial performance and intelligence on the state of the business.
  4. Systems & Technology: Design, deploy, integrate and manage systems / technology / automation to support all functions and areas of the WMC business.
  5. Business Administration/Management: Administrative management of day-to-day activities involved in operating the WMC organization including management of all existing partnership agreements.

Qualifications...

  • 10+ year’s experience in advertising/business operations, digital advertising, systems and tech platforms
  • BA/MBA preferred in related field or equivalent practical experience
  • A great depth of understanding on the online advertising industry: desktop, mobile (web/in-app), search and programmatic
  • Fluency in the language of digital media and online measurement: impressions, CTR, CPMs, STR, Fill rates, unique users, page views, visits, viewability etc.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and manage ambiguity
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically
  • Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal; with ability to communicate / present to sales teams and at the leadership level
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, media planning, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics/ reporting
  • Passion for digital media and advertising technology
