We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Walmart Canada team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing successful advertiser relationships and helping to grow advertising partnerships and investments within our Walmart Connect business.
Key Responsibilities- Build and Expand Customer Relationships
Develop and maintain strong relationships with our advertising partners, working collaboratively with the Client Partner to identify opportunities for growth and development.
Identify Opportunities for Increased AdoptionUtilize your knowledge of the advertising industry and our business to identify opportunities for increased adoption of sponsored search and generate additional revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
Establish and Cultivate RelationshipsEstablish and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through.
Execute Tactical Support RequestsExecute tactical support requests for marketplace sellers, such as issue troubleshooting and data reporting.
Handle Escalations and Resolve IssuesHandle escalations and resolve issues for advertisers through coordination across various functional areas of the company, including Ad Operations, Product, and Client Service.
Demonstrate Product FeaturesDemonstrate product features beyond central functionality to help advertisers achieve key business results.
Contribute to Feature DevelopmentUse advertiser feedback, market insights, and internal data to contribute to the development of features and programs that enhance customer success.
Maintain Disciplined Customer EngagementMaintain disciplined customer engagement to continually drive high-value and adaptation to a self-serve offering. This includes establishing a regular cadence (e.g., bi-weekly meetings, quarterly business reviews).
Qualifications- Experience in Sales and Account Management
3+ years of experience in sales, account management, and/or customer success in the ad tech/ad operations/ SEM/digital media/marketing/advertising space, working with advertisers and agencies.
Proven Track Record of Owning Customer RelationshipsProven track record of owning customer relationships and overseeing the entire lifecycle of the client, including account retention and growth.
Leadership and Communication SkillsAbility to lead or collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
