Account Manager Job Description

Manage successful advertiser relationships and grow advertising partnerships within Walmart Connect business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and expand customer relationships with Client Partners.
  • Identify opportunities for increased adoption of sponsored search and generate additional revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through.
  • Execute tactical support requests for marketplace sellers, such as issue troubleshooting and data reporting.
  • Handle escalations and resolve issues for advertisers through coordination across various functional areas of the company.
  • Demonstrate product features beyond central functionality to help advertisers achieve key business results.
  • Contribute to the development of features and programs that enhance customer success.
  • Maintain disciplined customer engagement to drive high-value and adaptation to a self-serve offering.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, and/or customer success in the ad tech/ad operations/ SEM/digital media/marketing/advertising space.
  • Proven track record of owning customer relationships.
  • Experience leading client meetings, conducting product training, and analyzing campaign data.
  • Comfortable with data-driven storytelling and the ability to leverage data to provide customers with recommendations for improving business performance.
  • Ability to lead or collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
