What does the Company do?Fortune 1000 companies spend billions with thousands of suppliers. We represent these large companies and save them money by negotiating pricing with their suppliers. Teams at these large companies are focused on their large suppliers and typically don’t actively manage the mid/smaller suppliers as closely. We help solve this problem by negotiating directly with this subset of suppliers and deliver meaningful savings within 100 days. We work with our Client’s on a project basis and have executed 12,000+ negotiations across 92 countries.We intentionally have a very limited online presence (including LinkedIn) – the best way to find out more is to have a chat. We are recognized as one of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies (5x) and a Great Place to Work (5x).What is the role?A sales role flipped on its head You represent our clients and negotiate with a select group of their suppliers to deliver savings. Most of our negotiators have sales backgrounds - what they enjoy about the role is the high volume of wins and that there is no cold-calling - you are representing the customer, and the suppliers will always take your callIf you love negotiations, a high volume of wins, remote work, and being on the phone, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.You will work collaboratively with this subset of suppliers to negotiate pricing and at times, identify other opportunities to create value. Compensation is like that of a sales role with a salary and commission structure. We have a structured program for advancement and promotion with clearly defined targets.You will work alongside a team (analysts, negotiators, auditors) to deliver a savings target while it is an individual contributor role, we all work towards the same goal and frequently help with each other’s negotiations.Our group of
