Benefits Specialist

Join Go Auto as a Benefits Specialist We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to optimize employee benefits programs, manage disability initiatives, and ensure compliance. If you have 2 years of Benefits Administration experience and strong communication skills, apply now for this impactful role.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile monthly benefit statements and bank withdrawals to billing statements
  • Perform chargeback reconciliations to Go Auto entities
  • Administer disability claims (Short Term, Long Term, and Workers Compensation)
  • Manage employee benefits, including adding premiums for employees on Leave of Absence (LOA)
  • Process new hires and terminations in UKG for Short Term Disability Payments
  • Calculate and process Short Term Disability payments
  • Create journal entries in QuickBooks
  • Collaborate with First Canadian for Benefits Administration
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiencies
  • Provide support and backup for Benefit Specialist I
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • HR diploma or CEBS certification (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 years' experience in Benefits Administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented.
