Benefits Specialist II
At Go Auto, we are seeking a meticulous professional to enhance our employee benefits offerings. This role focuses on the management of disability programs and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years in Benefits Administration and demonstrate exceptional communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and bank transactions with billing records.
- Conduct chargeback reconciliations for Go Auto divisions.
- Oversee disability claims processing, including Short Term, Long Term, and Workers Compensation.
- Administer employee benefits, ensuring accurate premium adjustments for those on Leave of Absence (LOA).
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes in UKG for Short Term Disability Payments.
- Calculate and execute Short Term Disability payments.
- Generate journal entries in QuickBooks.
- Collaborate with First Canadian for effective Benefits Administration.
- Address inquiries from employees and management.
- Identify and implement process enhancements for greater efficiency.
- Provide support and backup for the Benefits Specialist I role.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- HR diploma or CEBS certification (or equivalent experience).
- At least 2 years of experience in Benefits Administration.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
