Job Overview
Benefits Specialist II
Go Auto is seeking a meticulous Benefits Specialist II to enhance our employee benefits framework, oversee disability programs, and guarantee adherence to regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years in Benefits Administration and exhibit exceptional communication capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and bank transactions with billing records.
- Conduct chargeback reconciliations for Go Auto divisions.
- Manage disability claims, including Short Term, Long Term, and Workers Compensation.
- Oversee employee benefits, including adjusting premiums for employees on Leave of Absence (LOA).
- Process onboarding and offboarding in UKG for Short Term Disability Payments.
- Calculate and execute Short Term Disability payments.
- Generate journal entries in QuickBooks.
- Collaborate with First Canadian for Benefits Administration.
- Address inquiries from employees and managers.
- Identify and implement process enhancements for increased efficiency.
- Provide support and backup for the Benefits Specialist I role.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.
Required Qualifications:
- HR diploma or CEBS certification (or equivalent experience).
- At least 2 years of experience in Benefits Administration and disability management.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
